David W. Mooney Jr., Architects has designed numerous custom homes in Westchester and Fairfield Counties, restaurants, retail spaces, commercial, and industrial buildings. The firm is registered in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Mr. Mooney, the principal, has practiced Architecture for 30 years and is a member in the American Institute of Architects, New York Society of Architects, and is board certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Recently Mr. Mooney has become a LEED Accredited Professional by passing the United States Green Building Council examination for Green Buildings New Constriction.

With a major emphasis on “Green Building “technologies we are moving our practice in a new direction towards environmentally sound design and sustainability. The firm has recently completed the design of a new "green" environmental high school campus in New England. Mr. Mooney is also the founder and president of SEV Inc. a solar energy venture based in Rye, NY and San Antonio TX.

Mr. Mooney attended Boston Architectural and Pratt Institute and received his Bachelor of Architecture in 1980. Mr. Mooney also has a Master of Science in Real Estate Investment and Development from New York University.
Prior to establishing his own firm Mr. Mooney was responsible for the design and construction of over $350 million dollars of commercial and residential projects in the tri-state area.
Mr. Mooney is also a founding partner in IDOS a computer imaging and Animation Company located in Rye, New York and Holderness, New Hampshire
